Based on my experience, .com has the best result as most people trust a .com website rather than a .info website.

A domain related to your niche will even more encourage visitors to click on your blog. If your niche is about tennis, would you click on tennisthegame.com or hulaten.com?

Normally a domain would cost you around $7.99 a year. But there are some tricks - Yahoo gives promotion for the first time buyer.

This is the cheapest in the world, $1.99 for the first year.
We will use it for 1 year and transfer to other domain registrar.

* Every time I want to buy a new domain, I register a new Yahoo account.
* Caution – The second year cost $34.99! Extremely EXPENSIVE!
Therefore remember to write down when is the renewal date and transfer BEFORE Yahoo auto renews your domain.
(I use excel to keep track all my domains)
